The contest of architecture drawing is held in the Moscow Architectural Institute for the third year, but if in the past, the participants were given complete freedom in choosing the technique and themes, this year a more a short and spectacular sketch.
The best works of the contestants can be seen at the exhibition "Architectural sketches", which takes place in the gallery VHUTEMAS from 10 to 30 May.

The exhibition unites the work of the teachers of the "Drawing" department of the Moscow Architectural Institute and students. For the exhibition, the theme of architectural sketches was chosen, as one of the most important for architects. Sketches are a fairly broad concept, but in the context of the exhibition, we would like to draw attention to the importance of drawing primarily the way of fast fixing the environment, searching and thinking. Drawing in this case is considered not only as aesthetic self-worth, but also as a working tool of the architect.
